Their menu has a great selection of delicious items. I ordered the Mango Pancakes with House-made Granola & Guava Syrup. This dish was cooked to perfection and wasn’t too sweet at all. The pancakes came out nice and hot and were paired nicely with a small side of butter. Along with my pancakes, I also ordered the Beach Bowl. This is highly recommended if you are looking for something on the lighter side. The bowl comes with your choice of a Vanilla or Lemon Greek yogurt served on top a nice creamy sorbet type açaí. Finishing with a serving of granola and fruit, this dish will be the winner on the table on a nice hot day. Since most of Carlsbad is going green, this eco-friendly restaurants have done away with the plastics and presents your drinks with a paper straw.
So if you’re thinking about taking out the friends for breakfast, coming with the mother-in-law for a delicious lunch or even just in between classes and need a quick snack, stop by Shorehouse Kitchen since breakfast is served all day on their menu. No reservations are needed for this cozy joint, but if you are planning on coming here with a larger party, just give them a call. The restaurant also has some in-door seating just in case it’s got to be a little too warm outside or if the patio is full.
